Packing is always a challenge. I was making my list and checking it twice:
•gift for Ingrid (check)
•boots(check)
•dog hair free clothing! (check)
•back up gloves in case I loose a pair (check)
•DAISY?!!
•lint roller (check)
After a few delays we both ended up together in Newark waiting in the security line. It seems however that the agents in Newark are convinced that you won't realize you're waiting in a long line if you're constantly moving.
They send the line up an escalator just to go down the one on the other side and yell at you to keep moving if you start to slow down, even if there are people in front of you. We found ourselves wishing for the line to come to a halt so that we'd have enough time to take off our shoes and pull out our liquids. Great workout and we're getting very good at taking our shoes off while walking. You never know when that may come in handy.
5 hours of waiting down, 3 to go and we're off to Norway!
